NABC’s sales specialist Blake Montgomery will be on hand tonight at the monthly Beer 101, a production of First Capitol Liquors, and held at Point Blank Brewery in Corydon, Indiana. In short: The place to be for craft beer lovers in Corydon and environs. Visit the Facebook event page for more details.
Has it really been four years since former NABC brewer Jared Williamson (now brewing with Schlafly in St. Louis) came up with the idea of a special World Cup Trilogy beer series? Yes, it has. NABC will repeat the Trilogy in 2014, with three fresh new beers – one each meant to represent the three [...]
Late note: Floyd County has declared a state of emergency, and so the Pizzeria & Public House also will be closing early — about 7:30 – 8:00 p.m. It’s snowing, so as of 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, here is NABC’s status report. The Pizzeria & Public House is open for business as usual. [...]

Lots of NABC’s customers tell us Tunnel Vision is their favorite, and therein lies a story. Of course, we appreciate the popularity of Royal Wallonian Ale in the shadow of the mysterious, Ardennes-like Knobs. It’s just that there have been so many different Tunnel Visions over the years, so hopefully the one you like the [...]
We’re slightly tweaking Bank Street Brewhouse’s Sunday hours. BSB will remain open on Sundays until 9:00 p.m., but from 7:00 p.m. through 8:30 p.m., the kitchen will be doing a “fryer menu” only: Frites, rings and wings. All else stays as it is on Sundays: Brunch and Build Your Own Bloody Mary Bar from 10:00 [...]
NABC will be very busy on Thanksgiving weekend, 2013, though not on the holiday itself. Thanksgiving Day is on Thursday, November 28, and both NABC locations will be closed. On Friday, the beer schedule explodes. Plaid Friday is on Friday, November 29. At NABC’s Pizzeria & Public House, this is the day when Saturnalia Winter [...]
It’s almost time for Saturnalia Winter Solstice MMXIII, which kicks off on Plaid Friday, November 29, at NABC’s Pizzeria & Public House. This is the tenth edition of Saturnalia, which first took place in 2004. For Saturnalia, we try to find representative samples of winter and seasonal styles (themselves pleasingly varied, stylistically) and augment them with others that [...]
